Learning Updates

Reminders:

• Please return the white report card envelopes as soon as possible.
• Scholastic Book Orders are due Wednesday, January 15
• Our class council has planned a mini winter festival for Thursday and they have asked students to wear colours close to winter: blue, grey, white.
• Science Unit Test for the classroom chemistry unit will be Tuesday, January 21. Ensure to review using your notes and information on the blog to prepare for this test in advance. 

Language Arts: Students are wrapping up the novel study with an extension project to demonstrate their understanding of characters, events and lessons from the author. Students are also starting to work on planning for narrative story writing.

Science: Students did an experiment and follow up questions to understand pH Scale/Acids/Bases. This week they will be reviewing concepts, skills and vocabulary to prepare for next week's unit test.
