Learning Update---Exhibition
Students are working hard to learn their parts and improve their oral presentation skills through their work and projects over several months in anticipation of our upcoming Grade 5/6 Exhibit on Wednesday, February 26.
All three classes have been working with spoken word artist, Kris Demeanor to improve individual stories about Canadians and events in history. He also helped to create the group pieces that will be presented during the evening of the exhibition. It is important for all students to attend as parts have been assigned and each group is counting on all of their members to help bring their part of the story alive.
In addition to the performance in the gymnasium, student work will also be on display in the main hallway by the gymnasium and in the Grade 5/6 hallway near the classrooms. You are invited to stay and interact with the pieces and the projects to learn more about Canadian history and identity through the stories being told and shared.
