Thank You for Attending!
A big thank you to the students and parents who attended and interacted with the Grade 5/6 Exhibition on Wednesday evening. The stories were presented so well. Everyone did a great job creating and working with Kris Demeanor over the past few weeks. Students had their presentations for their researched moments in Canadian history, their understanding of the novel study and their process towards the final presentation on display throughout the hallways.
I also want to thank the students who offered their time before classes, recesses, and after school to help set up, clean up and do so many little tasks to help the Grade 5/6 community put on a wonderful exhibit. The feedback from parents and guests was also greatly appreciated. It is our hope that this jump starts a lifelong learning and desire to find out more about topics to discover the whole story. Students reflected on their final performance in their visual journal and will be available for you to view during the upcoming March Learning conferences.
