December 3 Update

Thank you to so many families for their donations to help us with our goal to fill socks and boots for the Calgary Drop In Centre. We are so fortunate to have so many families in our community willing and able to help us with this year's work, even though it is very different from the activities from previous years. It has been great to hear the daily updates about what we have been able to do as a whole school to help those in need.

Next week is our second challenge for the school, donations of non-perishable food items to help contribute to the annual Mayor's Food Drive to help the Calgary Food Bank will go all week. We even have our own in class incentive! If you still have toiletries and other items from the green list that went home earlier, we will still accept them!

Just a reminder that Friday, December 4 is a non-instructional day so that means there is no school tomorrow. Enjoy the really mild start to December and get outside for a walk!

Please check at home for any Capitol Hill School library books. Ms. Pobee would like to have all books returned by December 11.

Students have a reading power assignment on Google Classroom due on Friday as another walk through for online assignments before the impending online sessions in January. More information to come regarding this time after the break. Please have students work through to ensure access, ability to use the links in the slides, navigate, and troubleshoot now before that week of learning in the new year.
