Nine months in, how are we all holding up?

Lots of things are happening as we start to approach the end of the school year. It has definitely been a challenging year healthwise for many but I thank all those who are being considerate and still checking to ensure everyone is safe and healthy.

There are many exciting events coming up in Room 2, Grade 5/6, and at CHS.  Make sure to check your emails, student's green folder for notes/forms, and definitely the school calendar!

Part of the Health curriculum is to teach students about HUMAN SEXUALITY which has been outlined in the recent email sent to families. Please review it. Only return the form if a) you do not wish for your child to participate but stay in the classroom OR b) remove child from the classroom during these lessons.  Lessons begin the week of June 6 for all students.

Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) in June are all comprehensive knowledge, skills, and vocabulary based questions.  Please check the PAT EXAM SCHEDULE to avoid scheduling appointments during tests days. Teachers will be working with the Grade 6 students to prepare them for each exam. It is important students use time in advance of these tests to review and practice by using the resources posted in their Google Classroom. Please read the Alberta Grade 6 Parent Guide for information related to these tests.

We are planning a final community walk for the school year on Wednesday, June 22. If you are able to join us as a volunteer that morning to just after lunch, please let me know. Email: anmoore@cbe.ab.ca

If your family will be away before the last day of school on Tuesday, June 28 please let me or the office know in advance.
