September Updates

 

So much is happening in the upcoming weeks. Thank you so much for completing the Parent Viewpoint forms and returning them back to school with your child.

Here are some upcoming reminders:

The Terry Fox Run is happening at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21. Please ensure your child is dressed for the weather to run with the whole school.  Please send a loonie, twoonie, or whatever donation you are able to and we will have a class collection. The Scholastic Book Fair is happening in the Learning Commons this week. Our class will have a chance to review and make purchases on Wednesday. The book fair will also be open Thursday evening for Meet the Teacher Night.

Meet the Teacher night is on Thursday, September 22 from 4:30-6:30. Division 2 (Grade 4-6)teacher presentations will be at 5:00 and again at 5:30.  This is a come and go look at the school and classroom led by the students. We have not been able to have parents in the school over the past two years, so we are very excited to have everyone in the building.  Student work will be up and a chance for parents to be a part of our classroom to do an activity.

Friday, September 23 there will be NO School. Please review the school calendar sent in the package of information from last week.

Friday, September 30 is National Truth and Reconcilliation Day so there will be NO SCHOOL.
