Term 1 Class Election

Room 2 Class Election!!!!!

Room 2 students have a chance to represent each other to make decisions on in class issues and enhance our school experience. Students have been grouped into Area A and Area B based on where they live. They can be nominated to be a councillor for their area or run for Mayor to represent both areas. 

Important Dates for the upcoming election:

October 21-Nomination forms are due

October 24-Candidates are officially announced, campaigning begins (maximum of 5 posters one LTR paper, prepare speech, come up with ideas to share with people in their area/class)

October 31-Candidates have a chance to give a speech as their final pitch to their voters.

Tuesday, November 1 is ELECTION DAY (no more campaigning, voting will occur throughout the day, results may be announced end of day or by the next day.
