Final Week before the Winter Break
Wow! A super fast month is about to a close out on December 22, so Thursday is our last day of classes with our students. We have a few cold days to close out the school year. Please dress to stay warm and safe.
There will be lots going on throughout the week, so if you child will be away-please call the attendance line to report the absence.
CHS Holiday Happiness Week:
Monday – Ugly Sweater Day
Tuesday – Silly Hat Day
Wednesday – Swag Day or wear green/blue
Thursday – Pajama Day, Room 2 Celebration- bring your own mug!
Thursday, will also be a special celebration for Room 2 students for bringing in so many donations for the Veteran's Food Bank of Calgary over the past four weeks. We will use this time to view our build that was done virtually in Minecraft, and just take the time at the end of the day to be grateful and spread joy with one another. The Room 2 class council would like everyone to bring their glow in the dark items to make our celebration a GLOW Party. There will be a movie and and area in the room for board games. Students will also be treated to hot chocolate that day and have been asked to bring their own mug so we are not adding to the garbage and waste on the final day of school.
