Starting Out in 2023
Welcome Back from Winter Break!
I hope everyone had a restful time to be with family and friends over the break. Just a reminder that classes begin on Monday, January 9! I look forward to seeing all of the students again!
Looking ahead,
- we have the first reporting term coming up and report cards will be available on January 30.
- Room 2 will welcome Ms. Fetherstonhaugh to our class as a Mount Royal Universtity Teacher Candidate in her final practicum of her Education degree, from January to mid April.
- Getting ready for our Celebration of Learning for late February (more details to come).
- Grade 5s will be doing skiing lessons at WinSport on March 16, March 21-23 from 10:00-2:15 for each of those days. This is an off-site trip that will require parent volunteers to supervise on the bus and common areas. The instructors will supervise on the hill but there are complimentary adult tickets available for skiing if you want to get on the hill on those days, but it is not necessary for volunteering. Please let me know if you are available fo any of the days and I will ensure to get the extra forms for you.
