Confederation Park Community Walk

Hoping the weather will cooperate with our community walk to Confederation Park! 

After all the weekend rain, it is very likely we will have some muddy conditions for our walk and field study. Make sure parent volunteers and students are dressed for the weather of the day. Pack a snack with a healthy lunch and don't forget to fill up a water bottle to be carried in a back pack. Students will also carry their field journal and a pencil to complete their field study of  the wetland area ( the journal is at school).

After morning attendance, we will head out from the building at 8:45 am. Parent volunteers are asked to be at school and checked in at the office by 8:30 am. At our destination, students will be rotating through 3 activities led by parent volunteers and Ms. Keys or myself throughout the morning. Weather permitting, we will eat our lunch at the park before returning to school at 12:00 pm.

Thanks again to the amazing parents in Room 2 who are helping us out for this off-site activity! Kelly, Deoraj, and Steve have kindly volunteered their time.
