The Last Day

June 29--180 days in class together seemed like a long time but it went by so quickly. There were lots of subject topics to cover in Grade 5 and plenty to learn about ourselves and each other in the process. Thank you to all the students and parents who helped to make another memorable year at CHS. It was wonderful to look back on students growth and incredible generosity to the class and school. Many learned to be great mentors to their classmates and to our grade 1 buddies and hallway mates. So many students stepped up and helped out in lots of ways.

For the last day, students are asked to make it super colourful! Wear as many colours as possible, be wild, be bold!  How many colours will you be wearing? Will you be wearing the most colours in the class??? The class council has also planned a games afternoon to keep it low key and cool with all of our fans going!  If students are not attending the final day, please ensure personal items (likely their inside shoes) are picked up by Friday (FINAL DAY in the building).

Thank you again to all that have sent so many great messages and cards to end the year. I wish you all a great summer break and look forward to seeing many of you in the field on the first day of school to catch up!

Stay safe and enjoy the summer,

Mrs. Moore
