Remembrance Day Assembly-November 7
For the Remembrance Day assembly tomorrow, November 7, please bring in a donation of a loonie or twonie for your poppy. Thank you to Lukas, who will be our wreath bearer for the assembly. A big heartfelt gratitude for the students who helped cut out the felt hearts not only for themselves but for the students who were away this week so that everyone was able to add to our grade 5 legacy wreath.
Every year it gets bigger and more beautiful as a symbol of our appreciation to the soldiers who served and are serving in wars to protect others and bring peace to areas that do not have it.
The CBE will be on a Fall Break starting on Friday, November 8. Classes start again on THURSDAY, November 14. I hope everyone has a wonderful break to rest, get healthy, have visits, and enjoy the company of friends and family. Looking forward to hearing everyone's adventures when we return to classes next Thursday.
Parents and guardians, please make sure to book your learning conferences for November 28 or 29. It is a good idea to have your child present for the discussion to work together to help them before the end of the first term reporting in January. If you are unable to attend the scheduled days for these conferences, it is imporant to meet to discuss your grade 5 student's work and areas they can improve on. Please contact Mrs. Moore to set up an alternate time to meet.
