A Letter of Thanks
Many students in grades 4, 5, and 6 were part of this year's crochet club back in November-December. Those that were able, hand crafted some warm items that we donated to the Calgary Drop In Centre. Here is their thank you letter to us:
Dear Capitol Hill School, Crochet Club!
On behalf of the staff at the Calgary Drop-In Centre, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your incredibly generous donations of warm clothes and hygiene items for our Guests. Your kindness is truly inspiring, and your contributions will make a lasting impact on those who need it most during this difficult season.
Your support provides not just essential items, but also hope, comfort, and a reminder that there are people who care. For many of our Guests, your donations represent more than just physical warmth—they bring a sense of belonging and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.
It’s through acts of compassion like yours that we are able to create a more connected and caring community. Your empathy and generosity will leave an enduring mark on the lives of so many.
Thank you once again for your thoughtfulness. Together, we are making the world a kinder, warmer place.
