Terry Fox Run at Capitol Hill School
This year marks the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope. He started something so special to help so many people, let's work together to FINISH IT!
Capitol Hill School is proud to participate in the 45th Annual Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 26. This important event gives our students the opportunity to learn about Terry Fox’s legacy and contribute to cancer research through fundraising and community spirit.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
11:00 a.m. – Students will view a virtual guest speaker presentation to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. Classroom teachers will advise where each class will participate in the viewing.
11:45 a.m. – All students will gather in the gymnasium for a school-wide pep rally in preparation for the run.
12:00–12:30 p.m. – The Terry Fox Run will take place on the east field, located past the fencing. Parents are welcome to join us for the run.

Please ensure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather and in running shoes to fully enjoy this outdoor activity.
